Business Development Executive

HALOCK Security Labs is the inventor of Duty of Care Risk Analysis (DoCRA.org) and primary author of the Center for Internet Security Risk Assessment Method (CIS RAM).  With new requirements on organizations to demonstrate their Risk Management process and ability to address foreseeable threats, HALOCK is well positioned to serve the community with risk assessments and tools.  HALOCK is looking to add to its Business Development Team.  We are looking for long term players.  HALOCK has been in business for 27 years and we are looking for serious long term partnerships with those want to build a lasting franchise.

Requirements

  • 5 plus years selling Software as a Service
  • 2 plus years selling information security specific products and/or services
  • At least 5 years at the same company within the last 10 years of employment
  • College degree

Business Development

  • Develop and manage to a Territory/Business Plan
  • Achieve financial performance number (product margin + professional services revenue) goals
  • Conduct client meetings to understand specific client requirements
  • Prepare quotes and proposals for client approval
  • Attend and contribute to Sales and Account Management meetings
  • Interface with consulting delivery teams to ensure proper design and deployment of security solutions
  • Coordinate resources from client, HALOCK and vendors to implement solutions
  • Register deals with technology partners
  • Escalate issues to client and HALOCK
  • Identify upselling opportunities
  • Manage client sponsor expectations
  • Manage sales pipeline
  • Work with Account Management and Business Unit Leaders to strengthen vendor based security solutions

Security Community Relations and Marketing

  • Interface with Local Infosec and Legal communities
  • Organize local lunch and learns and/or speaking engagements for HALOCK partners
  • Attend conferences/tradeshows to promote HALOCK services and solutions
  • Marketing support in the form of blogs
  • Support vendor marketing opportunities

Service and Product Focus

  • Risk Assessments and Risk Management Programs based on DoCRA (Duty of Care Risk Analysis)
  • Risk Management SaaS Platform (Reasonable Risk)
  • Other security solutions
    • Pen testing
    • Incident Response Readiness
    • Engineering implementations
